Indo Power 16T Crane

The 16 T crane has a load capacity of 16 tonnes, making it ideal for heavy lifts in construction and industrial settings.

It features a telescopic boom with various configurations, reaching heights of up to 19.81 m and horizontal distances of up to 17.17 m, offering excellent reach flexibility.

As a pick-and-carry crane, it enables mobile lifting and material handling with good manoeuvrability on site.

This crane is powered by a water-cooled diesel engine (model Indo 3065 DI) delivering 60 hp at 2200 rpm, providing efficient power for operations.

It has a heavy-duty transmission designed for crane use, featuring a sliding-mesh spur-teeth gearbox with eight forward and two reverse speeds, along with a high/low selector.

Its top travel speed is around 30 km/h, allowing the crane to move across the site quickly and efficiently.

The crane uses a 4-part telescopic boom, with the second and third sections hydraulically actuated and the fourth extended using a hydraulic-assisted rope.

The hydraulic system includes a vane-type pump, a multi-spool control valve with built-in pressure relief, and filters (100 mesh suction, 25 micron return) for reliable and smooth operation.

The hoisting mechanism features a six-fall rope system with fail-safe brakes and a hoist line speed of 55 m/min, meeting material-lifting requirements.

Its heavy-duty full-length chassis and high ground clearance enable reliable handling of rough terrain and demanding tasks.

Articulated power steering uses dual hydraulic cylinders for up to 53° articulation and offers a tight turning radius of 6.5 m, improving manoeuvrability in confined spaces.

The tyre and axle setup includes front tyres 11.00×20–16 PR (4 units) and rear tyres 14.00×25–20 PR (2 units), designed for stability under load.

It includes an overload audio warning system, hoist safety brakes, cylinder guards, and counter-balance valves on lift cylinders to enhance safety during lifting.

The braking system consists of fully air-operated dual-circuit ‘S’ cam brakes on the front wheels, mechanical disc brakes on the rear wheels with pneumatic activation, and fail-safe parking brakes.

The all-weather cabin features rear-view mirrors, reflectors, a toolkit, steering and lift cylinder guards, improving operator comfort and visibility on site.

It has a 60-litre fuel tank and a hydraulic oil capacity of about 140 litres, ensuring long operational endurance between service intervals.

Standard accessories include a heavy-duty six-fall winch, front bumper, toolbox, turn and reverse lamps, and a steering cylinder guard, simplifying on-site maintenance.

Optional features include extra hooks, a man-carrying basket, an over-hoist warning system, a spark arrester, and support for a fire extinguisher.
