MoRTH’s NH Division at Gandhidham wants NH-141 upgraded to six lanes with paved shoulder from km 5.560 to km 14.014, on the busy Gandhidham–Kandla port corridor in Kachchh. The scope skips the existing ROB section (km 5.885–6.870) and the interchange (km 9.795–11.735) and adds a new six-lane main carriageway across the rest. This is a port-feeder road that carries heavy container and cargo traffic, so the work has to hold up under real load. It’s floated as a second attempt on a works contract, valued at ₹78.61 Cr.
