Finishing someone else’s bridge
The tender is for the balance work of a major bridge on well foundation over the River Gomti on NH-128A, running parallel to the existing Shastri Bridge in Jaunpur. “Balance work” means an earlier contract stopped partway, and the new contractor takes over what is left. NHAI headquarters has issued it through PIU Azamgarh, reference UPDIV-21014/ 8/2026-PIU Azamgarh/ E-307583.
The contractor gets 365 days. The notice says EPC mode, and the portal lists the form of contract as item rate.

Well-sinking and girder plant
Well foundations are sunk by grabbing soil from inside the well, so you need a crawler crane with a grab, kentledge and dewatering pumps. The same crane places girders once the piers are up. Transit mixers and a pump deliver the concrete, an excavator builds the working island in the river and a compactor finishes the approaches. The season is short, because work in the river bed stops when the Gomti rises.
