    What decides the price of hydraulic oil

    The ISO VG grade and the maker’s line, the pack size (small packs or a 210 litre drum) and how much your system holds. Prices differ between makers and districts and move with base oil prices, which is why we do not print one. Ask what the quote includes, such as delivery.

    How much hydraulic oil does my excavator take?

    It depends on the model. Makers publish the hydraulic tank in litres and, for many machines, the whole system as well. The table on this page lists both for every excavator and backhoe loader we list. The whole system holds more than the tank alone.

    Which hydraulic oil grade should I use?

    The grade in your machine's manual, shown as an ISO VG number such as 46 or 68. Makers print the ISO VG grades and standards on their hydraulic oils, and some name construction and mining machines for particular lines. Ask the dealer to confirm against your manual.

    Does a breaker change the oil I need?

    A breaker works the hydraulic oil harder, so the oil is worth checking more often. The right grade is still the one in the manual: ask the dealer, and see our breaker page for the size that suits your machine.

    Does Desi Machines sell hydraulic oil?

    No. We pass your request to a dealer or distributor near you, who quotes and supplies the oil. The service is free for buyers.

    Who will contact me after I ask?

    A dealer near your district: the dealer of your machine's brand, or the maker's distributor. We tell you on WhatsApp who has your request. Desi Machines does not sell these.
