Road, bridge and five years of upkeep
The work is the sector dividing road 83/101 in S.A.S. Nagar, better known as Mohali, along with one dual carriageway high-level bridge on the same road. Civil, public health and electrical works are all in one contract, and so is maintenance for five years after completion. Greater Mohali Area Development Authority is the issuing body, through its Division C-1.
Construction is to finish in 540 days. The notice is new, published on 29 September 2026.
Commercial terms
The tender value is ₹70,52,24,518 on a percentage-rate contract. EMD is ₹1,02,00,000, around 1.4 per cent, and exemption is allowed for eligible bidders. The portal shows the tender fee as nil. Bids open at 4:00 PM on the closing day.
Because street lighting, storm drains and water lines are bundled in, a road contractor will need electrical and public health partners or in-house teams. Punjab bridge builders can also look at the re-tendered Satluj river bridge in Roopnagar, and highway firms at the Delhi Amritsar Katra expressway packages.

A new sector road starts with excavators and tippers on box cutting and fill, then a motor grader and soil compactor on the sub-grade. Service trenches for drains, water and cable ducts keep backhoe loaders busy for months. The bridge adds piling, a crane for girders and transit mixers for the deck.
