Six months, between two monsoons
The 180-day window runs through Goa’s dry season, which is when canal lining has to be done. The canal will need to run dry in stretches, so work is phased around irrigation needs. Contractors from south Goa and coastal Karnataka with lining experience will be quickest off the mark.
