Short tunnels in this terrain are usually protection structures — they carry the road under slopes that shed rock and snow — and each one is a compact package of excavation, rock support and structural concrete. The estimated value is Rs 130.04 Cr and bid validity runs 120 days.
Count on excavators with rock breakers, drilling equipment, loaders and tippers for muck shifting, plus concrete production and placement kit — mixers, pumps and cranes for the structural work.
