North Bengal’s NH-327C between Kharibari and Ghoshpukur goes to hybrid annuity bidders at ₹232.42 crore, and the Kharibari Ghoshpukur tender closes at 11:00 AM on 2 November 2026.
The second half of a two-road programme
NHAI wants the Kharibari to Ghoshpukur portion of NH-327C upgraded from an intermediate two-lane road with paved shoulders to a two and four-lane road with paved shoulders. It is funded under NH(O) on hybrid annuity mode and handled by PIU Jalpaiguri, reference WBDIV-20017/18/2026-PIU Jalpaiguri/E-306917.
The reference number is one digit away from the Bagdogra Galgalia four-laning tender on NH-327, which came out the same afternoon and closes on the same day. The two roads meet at Kharibari, so a bidder who wins both can run them from one camp.
What hybrid annuity asks of you
Under HAM the contractor funds part of the construction cost and is paid back in annuities after completion. You need a lender lined up before you bid. EMD is ₹2,32,00,000, the fee is ₹30,000, and exemption is not allowed. The portal gives 730 days and lists the form of contract as item rate. Bids open at 11:30 AM on 3 November.
This is widening next to live traffic in a belt with heavy monsoon rain, so drainage and embankment work come early. Excavators and tippers bring in fill, motor graders and compactors build the layers, and wheel loaders feed the crusher and hot-mix plant. Culverts and minor bridges need transit mixers and a small crane. Fleet owners around Siliguri and Islampur are well placed for hire.
