Terms and key dates
EMD is ₹1,25,10,000, which is 1 per cent, with no exemption. The fee is ₹20,000. A pre-bid meeting is set for 11:00 AM on 23 October at the regional office in Dehradun. Bids open at 5:00 PM on 13 November 2026.
This road carries pilgrim traffic from May to October and is hit by slides in the monsoon, so the real working window is late autumn to spring, and winter is cold at this height. Excavators with breakers do hill cutting and slide clearance, a drilling rig installs anchors and micropiles for slope treatment, and a crane launches the bridge. Paving needs a hot-mix plant placed down the valley, with motor graders and rollers working in short closures. Wheel loaders keep the road open after every slip.
