Rajasthan’s Water Resources Department is relining the whole Sadul branch of the Bhakra canal system in three packages worth ₹77.74 crore together, and the Sadul branch relining tender closes at 6:00 PM on 5 October 2026.
One notice, three reaches of the same canal
All three packages sit under one notice, CE_NIB_05_2026-27, from the Chief Engineer, Water Resources (North) Zone, Hanumangarh. Package P-4 covers RD 0.000 to 30.000 at ₹25.21 crore. P-5 runs from RD 30.000 to 59.000 at ₹27.24 crore. P-6 finishes the branch from RD 59.000 to 90.600 at ₹25.29 crore.
Each package is a separate bid, so you can quote for one reach or all three. The contract is on percentage rate with 730 days to finish. The executing office is the Bhakra-Sidhmukh Regulation Division at Hanumangarh.
Deposits and who can carry them
EMD is ₹50,43,000 for P-4, ₹54,48,000 for P-5 and ₹50,58,000 for P-6, which is 2 per cent of each estimate. The portal allows EMD exemption for eligible bidders. The tender fee is ₹10,000 per package and bids open at 3:00 PM on 6 October.
Canal lining contractors registered with the department in the right class are the natural field. The same zone has two Gang Canal works in Sri Ganganagar closing the same evening. For a much larger water job in the state, see the Chambal to Alwar and Bharatpur water supply tender, and road contractors can look at the Nasirabad to Kekri road tender on SH-26.
Closure windows decide the fleet
Relining is done when the canal is shut, so the work comes in short, intense bursts. Excavators strip the old lining and trim the section, backhoe loaders handle the tight spots near structures, and compactors firm up the sub-grade before concrete goes down. Transit mixers and a paver or slip-form rig do the lining itself. Machine owners in Hanumangarh district should expect hire demand to peak during closures.
