Rajasthan’s Public Works Department, through the Additional Chief Engineer’s zone in Bikaner, has floated an open tender to build a road over bridge with approaches in lieu of level crossing LC-1A on the Suratgarh–Anupgarh section, at Km 1/4-5 over SH-94. The estimated value is ₹75.25 crore on an item-rate contract. Replacing a busy level crossing with an ROB is bread-and-butter structures work, but it comes with railway coordination and staged traffic handling that a bidder should plan for from day one.
This is a good fit for a small-to-mid contractor or EPC firm with bridge and RCC experience.
