₹552.32 crore of sewer construction is on offer in Jabalpur, split into three packages for the left-over area of Zone 1 under AMRUT 2.0, and the Jabalpur sewerage tender closes at 6:00 PM on 4 November 2026.
Three packages under one notice
Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has put the whole of Zone 1’s unsewered area out in one notice, AMRUT2.0/Sewer/2026-27/PRO/498. Package A is estimated at ₹130.45 crore, Package B at ₹239.83 crore and Package C at ₹182.04 crore. Each has its own tender ID and is bid separately.
They are percentage rate contracts with 730 days to finish, and the portal classes them as composite works. The Commissioner, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation is the inviting authority. The treatment plant for the zone is a fourth package, Package D, with its own notice and a later closing date of 1 December. Smaller sanitation jobs in the state include the Itarsi sewage treatment plant tender.
Half a per cent as deposit
EMD is ₹65,22,320 for Package A, ₹1,19,91,585 for Package B and ₹91,02,065 for Package C, which is 0.5 per cent of each estimate, with no exemption. The fee is ₹50,000 per package. A pre-bid meeting was held on 25 September at the Sewer Department, Manas Bhavan. Bids open at 6:00 PM on 5 November.
Much of Jabalpur is underlain by hard rock, and sewer trenches in the city often hit it at shallow depth. That changes the fleet. You need excavators with hydraulic breakers on almost every front, because blasting is rarely an option in built-up areas. Backhoe loaders do the laterals and house connections, cranes lower large pipes and manhole sections, and compactors follow for reinstatement. Over two years and three packages, breaker-equipped excavators will be the machines in shortest supply, so owners who have them should talk to bidders early.
