Tripura is tendering a ₹139.69 crore design, build and operate contract to improve water supply across Bishalgarh, Sonamura, Santirbazar and Sabroom, with bids closing on 15 September 2026.

Four towns under one contract

The Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority has grouped four towns into Cluster IV A and put the whole improvement programme out as a single contract. It is an Asian Development Bank funded package, reference 76CECPEETUDAWSIVAADB2026_27, and it runs on design, build and operate terms rather than plain construction.

That structure matters for anyone pricing it. The winning firm designs the scheme, builds it, and then runs it for a defined operating period, so the bid has to carry operations cost and not just capital works.
