1. What this disclaimer covers

DesiMachines (desimachines.com) is run by Desi Machine Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata. This disclaimer applies to everything we publish: this website, our WhatsApp and SMS messages, emails, notifications, brochures we share and our social media posts. It is part of our Terms & Conditions. By using the site you accept it.

2. Information only, not advice

Everything on DesiMachines is general information to help you research and compare. Nothing here is financial, legal, tax, engineering or safety advice, and nothing here is a recommendation that suits your particular work or money situation.

Buying, financing, insuring or hiring a machine is a commercial decision with real money behind it. Take advice from someone qualified, and from the dealer, lender or insurer who will sign the paperwork with you.

3. Prices

• Prices on this site are indicative. We show them as a range around the listed price, with the month they were last checked, and the page says whether a price is ex-showroom or ex-factory.
• We collect prices from brand price lists, dealer quotes and public sources. The same model sells for different amounts in different states and months.
• What you finally pay is decided by the dealer. It depends on your state, the variant and attachments you choose, registration, insurance, transport, current offers and schemes. Whether taxes are included in a figure, and at what rate, is confirmed only on the dealer’s written quotation.
• A price on this site is not an offer to sell and not a promise that a dealer will match it.

If a price looks wrong, tell us through our corrections page and we will check it.

4. Specifications, brochures and photos

• Specifications, brochures and product photos come from official brand material and other public sources. Figures are as stated by the manufacturer. We do not test machines.
• Brands change models, engines and features without telling us. A brochure figure can differ from the machine at the dealer’s yard.
• Photos can show optional equipment, attachments or versions sold outside India, and colours can differ.
• Brochures remain the documents of the brand that issued them. We share them for reference only.

Check the specification that matters for your job with the dealer before you buy.

5. Brand names, logos and trademarks

All brand names, model names, logos and trademarks shown on DesiMachines belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the machines, manufacturers, dealers, banks, NBFCs and insurers we describe and compare.

DesiMachines is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a dealer or agent for any manufacturer, bank, NBFC or insurer shown on this site, unless a page clearly says so. Showing a name or a logo does not mean its owner sponsors or approves DesiMachines. We compare machines on facts, and nothing here is meant to run down any brand. “DesiMachines”, “Desi Machines” and our logo are our own marks.

If you own a trademark, photo or other material and believe we have used it wrongly, write to legal@desimachines.com with the page link and your proof of ownership. Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions explains how we handle it.

6. AI tools, automated replies and illustrations

• Some articles, translations and images are prepared with the help of AI tools and can contain mistakes. Published articles follow our editorial policy.
• Some images and diagrams are created or edited with software, including AI tools. They illustrate a topic. They are not photos of a particular machine, work site, event or person, and may not match every detail of a real model.
• Some videos use an AI-generated presenter or voice. The presenter is not a real customer, dealer or brand representative.
• Some replies on WhatsApp are prepared with the help of automated tools, and a member of our team takes over when needed. Automated replies can be wrong. A price or a specification in a message is general information, not a quotation.
• We do not use AI to create images or statements of real people, or reviews and testimonials that did not happen.

7. Comparisons, calculators and the machine finder

• Comparisons are built from the specification and price data we hold. They help you narrow a shortlist. Two machines that look close on paper can behave very differently on your site, with your operator and your material.
• Calculators (EMI, on-road price, diesel, break-even, buy or hire, resale) work on the numbers you enter plus assumptions such as interest rate, down payment, diesel price and working hours. The result is an estimate. It is not a loan offer, a loan approval, a quotation, or a promise of savings or earnings.
• The machine finder suggests a type and size of machine from your answers and our published buying guides. It is general guidance, not engineering advice. Ground conditions, load, reach and safety should be checked with the dealer or a qualified engineer.

8. Finance and insurance information

• DesiMachines does not lend money and does not decide any loan application. We are not a lending service provider or direct selling agent of any bank or NBFC, unless a page clearly says so.
• We are not an insurer, insurance broker, corporate agent or IRDAI-registered web aggregator, and we do not sell, arrange or recommend insurance policies. Buy a policy only from the insurer or a registered insurance intermediary.
• Names and logos of banks, NBFCs and insurers are shown so you can find and compare them, not because we represent them.
• Interest rates, processing fees, premiums, eligibility, cover and approval are decided by the lender or insurer on your profile. Where we mention a rate or premium band, it comes from that institution’s own published material, is not a quotation, and can change without notice.
• Read the lender’s loan agreement and the insurer’s policy wording before you sign. Those documents, not our pages, set the terms.

9. Dealers

Dealer names and addresses come from brands and public sources. We do not own or run these dealerships and we are not responsible for what they quote, promise or deliver. A dealer shown on our site is not a recommendation, and you should confirm with the brand that a dealer is authorised before you pay.

10. Government tenders

Tender pages under Opportunities are our own summaries of public notices, and they name the issuing authority. We are not connected with any government department and we are not a tender consultant. Dates, values, eligibility and documents can be changed or cancelled by the authority at any time, and only the official tender document counts. Read the original notice on the official portal before you bid.

11. News and articles

News and guides reflect what we could verify on the date shown. Industry figures, launches, rules and prices change, and an older article reflects what was true when it was published. Figures that come from a company are reported as that company’s claim.

12. Machines listed by owners

Details of used machines and machines for rent are supplied by their owners. We review what owners send us, but we do not inspect the machine, confirm who owns it, or check its hours, year, condition, loan status or price.

If you buy or hire a machine that an owner listed, inspect it yourself, check the RC, invoice and any loan closure letter, and never pay an advance before you have seen the machine and the papers. The deal is between you and the owner. DesiMachines is not a party to it.

13. Payments and fraud

DesiMachines does not sell machines and never asks you for an advance, token amount or booking fee. We never ask for an OTP, UPI PIN, card number or bank password. If someone uses our name to ask you for money, do not pay. Tell us at legal@desimachines.com and report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on 1930.

14. Links to other websites

We link to brands, lenders, government portals, news sources and other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, offers or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

15. Accuracy and liability

We work to keep DesiMachines accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that every figure, document or listing is correct, complete or current, or that the site will always be available. The site and its tools are provided “as is”.

To the extent the law allows, Desi Machine Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from relying on information on this site or in our messages. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be limited by agreement. Our full liability terms are in section 13 of the Terms & Conditions.
