From a single-lane track to a national highway section
Project Swastik, run from HQ CE(P) Swastik in Gangtok, is upgrading the existing road from Class 9 to NHDL specification with a paved shoulder. The stretch runs from design chainage km 0.00 at Zadong to km 6.880, all of it on NH-310A. The notice was put up on 6 October 2026 and carries the reference CE (P) SWTK/08/2026-27/EPC.
Bidding does not open straight away. Submissions start at 5:00 PM on 5 November, five days after the pre-bid meeting at HQ CE(P) Swastik on 31 October. That gives you three weeks to walk the alignment before a single document has to be uploaded.
