Tripura PWD is building phase II of the Rajarbag Motorstand at Udaipur in Gomati district, and the Rajarbag Motorstand tender closes at 3:00 PM on 5 November 2026.
Everything a bus terminal needs, in one package
The work description is specific, which helps: the building portion including internal water supply and sanitary installation, bus bays, shops, internal road, boundary wall and hardstand, as phase II. That is four different kinds of work in one contract, from wet trades inside a building to a heavy duty hardstand outside that has to carry loaded buses turning on it.
The Executive Engineer, Udaipur Division, under the Third Circle and the Chief Engineer, PWD Roads and Buildings, is the inviting authority, reference CE(B)/PWD/ACE/PU/DNIT/39/26-27. The estimate is ₹29,64,49,124 with 730 days.
Two years, and the hardstand is the test
Bus bays and hardstand areas fail faster than any other part of a terminal because buses brake, turn and stand in the same spots every day. Whether the specification calls for concrete or a heavy bituminous section, the subgrade preparation and drainage underneath decide how long it lasts. Price that properly rather than treating the external works as a finishing item.
The building needs a pick-and-carry crane and transit mixers through the frame and slab stages, with an excavator for foundations and a backhoe loader running services, drains and the boundary wall. The external works are a separate exercise: a motor grader and compactors for the hardstand and internal road formation, then either concrete or bitumen on top. Northeast monsoon rain is heavy, so the drainage has to go in before the paving, not after.
