Indore is getting 264 new police homes on two sites, and both packages of the Indore police quarters tender close at 5:00 PM on 25 November 2026.
Two sites, two notices, the same closing day
MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation, through Project Engineer Indore 02, has issued both packages under notice 17/2026-27. Part 1, tender ID 2026_MPPHC_546239_1, is construction of 64 non-gazetted officer quarters and 96 constable quarters at Dravid Nagar, at ₹38,44,82,000. Part 2, tender ID 2026_MPPHC_546240_1, is 32 NGO and 72 constable quarters at Sadar Bazar police line, at ₹26,14,66,000. Together that is 264 homes and ₹64.60 crore.
Both run 545 days on percentage rate contracts, and both are classed as civil works for buildings. Police housing is repeat-pattern construction: the same unit type stacked across blocks, which rewards a contractor who can set up formwork once and cycle it.
Deposits, fees and the case for bidding both
EMD is ₹19,22,410 on part 1 and ₹13,07,330 on part 2, both at half a per cent of the estimate with no exemption, and each carries a ₹30,000 fee. Bids open at 11:00 AM on 27 November. The two sites are both inside Indore, so one site office, one batching arrangement and one formwork set can serve both, and winning the pair is worth noticeably more than winning either alone.
Housing blocks are a concrete cycle. The plant list is short but has to be reliable: transit mixers feeding a placing arrangement at each block, a crane or two for formwork, reinforcement and material lifting, and a wheel loader at the aggregate and sand stacks. Foundations and the external services take an excavator early on, then a backhoe loader stays through the job for trenching, drains and site clearing. Internal roads and parking finish behind a compactor. Eighteen months for 264 units means a floor cycle you cannot afford to miss.
