NCC October 2026 Orders: Rs 1,862 Crore in Eight New Wins, Water and Buildings Lead

NCC Ltd closed October 2026 with Rs 3,148.48 crore of new orders, its biggest month in the disclosures we have tracked this year. The headline hides two very different kinds of work. One road package we already reported makes up about 41 percent of it. The other eight orders, worth Rs 1,862.45 crore, lean towards water and buildings, and those pull a different set of machines from a highway.

What was announced

  • Eight orders worth Rs 1,862.45 crore, excluding GST, disclosed to the exchanges on 31 October 2026.
  • Water division Rs 767.11 crore, buildings Rs 688.78 crore, transportation Rs 406.56 crore. The three add up to the full Rs 1,862.45 crore.
  • With the Rs 1,286.03 crore Radial Road-2 package disclosed on 8 October, October intake totals Rs 3,148.48 crore across nine orders.
  • No client, state or contract period was given for the eight new orders.

What NCC told the exchanges

NCC filed its month-end order disclosure on the evening of 31 October. Business Upturn and InvestyWise carried it that day and the Free Press Journal on 1 November, and all three give the same total and the same division split. NCC said the orders came in the normal course of business, include no internal orders and involve no promoter or group-company interest. It named no clients, which is usual for these monthly filings. For scale, NCC’s own disclosures put May intake at Rs 1,837.02 crore and July at Rs 1,052.71 crore, as we noted in our July order report.

Does NCC’s October haul change what a hire fleet should stock?

Split it by division, because each slice hires differently.

Water, at Rs 767.11 crore, is the largest part of the eight-order batch. NCC’s water work is usually pipelines, pump houses and treatment plants. Buried pipe means trenching: 7 to 21-tonne excavators with narrow buckets, backhoe loaders for road crossings and reinstatement, plate compactors and small rollers for backfill, and dewatering pumps. The work is spread over many short fronts, so it suits owners who rent by the month more than anyone buying against a single job.

Buildings, at Rs 688.78 crore, is a concrete job. Expect tower cranes and mobile cranes, batching plants feeding transit mixers and boom pumps, and piling rigs where the soil calls for them. Earthmoving on a building site lasts a few months at the start and then stops.

Transportation is the smallest slice at Rs 406.56 crore. Add the Radial Road-2 package and NCC’s October road intake comes to Rs 1,692.59 crore. That package runs on an 18-month clock on Hyderabad’s southwest edge, which is where graders, soil compactors and tipper fleets get called in first.

Our read, hedged because no locations were given: the eight orders average about Rs 233 crore each, which is mid-sized work. Jobs of that size are often staffed with locally hired plant rather than heavy fleet shipped in from another state, so rental owners with trenching and concrete kit near these sites may gain more than dealers selling big crawlers. That changes if one large package turns out to sit inside the water total.

Dates to note

  • 14 November 2026: the SEBI deadline for listed companies to report July-September results. NCC’s Q2 numbers should carry its updated order book.
  • Around 30 November 2026: if NCC keeps its month-end habit, the November intake disclosure lands then, possibly with a fresh division split.
