Our journey started when we got hit by the realization that the construction and industrial equipment market is scattered, and there is a gap between the OEM and the buyers. The time was November 2024 when the idea came to build a platform, somewhat of an unbiased digital companion, that would help buyers make informed decisions.

In mid-January 2025, with an ambition to unify the buyers and the OEMs, we bought our domain, DesiMachines.com. With this, our dream took shape. It took weeks and months of hard work to build structured data, comparison formats, and meaningful content. All this was not to sell anything but to bring clarity to Indian customers to choose the right machinery with confidence.

We hit another milestone on February 15th, 2025, when Desi Machines officially went live.

The start was small, but the purpose was big.

The journey of one year:

The first year has been remarkably rewarding:

  • We hit 20,000 monthly visitors, which is still growing.
  • We achieved the milestone of 2% high-intent qualified leads that connect serious machine buyers with the OEMs and financial and insurance partners.
  • The comparison tool that we provide is 100% unbiased.
  • We also educate visitors with recent knowledge on the construction equipment market, recent trends, and equipment insights.
  • We successfully built a relationship with the OEMs, dealers, financiers, and real industry buyers.

Our motive was not to gain traffic but to gain trust among the buyers as well as among the OEMs. This made us happy and content.

  • The construction equipment market is mostly offline, and a monopoly of a few giants exists. The market closed, the influence of the network and very difficult for the buyer to choose the right machine according to the need.
  • The dominance of the dealers prevails. The information is scattered and mostly guarded by the influencers.
  • There was a high time for an online presence in this market. It’s more democratic, transparent, and clear.

To fight against these above factors, the idea of introducing DesiMachines came. It is not a marketplace or an ad portal. Rather, an industry guide that connects machines, brands with the buyer. The decisions are made with facts, clarity, and trust, and not with influence.
