The Haryana Public Health Engineering Department, through its Bhiwani Circle (PHED No. 2), has invited open bids to augment the water supply system in villages Kharak Kalan and Khurd and to build the sewerage alongside it: a sewage treatment plant, main and intermediate pumping stations, sewer line laying and manholes. The estimated value is ₹80.34 crore. It bundles two jobs that usually come separately, so the winning contractor handles both the water and the wastewater side of these villages.

A small or mid-size contractor with water-supply and sewerage experience is the natural bidder, ideally one who has built an STP and pumping stations before. EMD exemption is open to eligible firms, the tender fee is ₹50,000 paid online, and bid validity is a long 270 days. Laying water mains and sewer lines across two villages keeps excavators and backhoe loaders busy on trenching, with breakers where the ground is hard.
