Udham Singh Nagar’s two biggest towns each have a full water supply scheme out to tender, and the Rudrapur Kashipur water supply tender from UUSDA closes on 23 October 2026, at 3:00 PM for Kashipur and 4:00 PM for Rudrapur.
Same scope in two towns
Both schemes cover tube wells, rising mains, overhead tanks (OHTs), the distribution system, house service connections and allied works, followed by two years of operation and maintenance. They share one reference, UUSDA/P-106/1465, and come from the Program Director, UUSDA, Dehradun, in the agency’s ADB section. Each town is a separate bid.
The portal publishes neither a tender value nor a work period. The EMD is ₹2,50,00,000 for Rudrapur and ₹2,30,00,000 for Kashipur. If the deposit is 2 per cent, that suggests about ₹125 crore and ₹115 crore. Treat those as rough guides only.
Fees and opening times
The fee is ₹29,500 for each tender and EMD exemption is not allowed. Pre-bid meetings were held at UUSDA, Dehradun on 24 September. Kashipur bids open at 3:30 PM and Rudrapur bids at 4:30 PM on the closing day.
Unlike the hill towns, Rudrapur and Kashipur are flat, which makes trenching fast. The volume is in the distribution network and house connections. Backhoe loaders do most of it, with excavators on the rising mains. Overhead tanks need transit mixers, a concrete pump and a crane for staging, and a rotary rig drills the tube wells. Backhoe owners in Udham Singh Nagar can expect two or three years of hire.
