MP PWD’s Ujjain zone has put out three road packages in Neemuch and Shajapur districts worth ₹111.65 crore together, and the Shajapur Neemuch road tender closes at 5:30 PM on 2 November 2026.
A bypass and two roads with bridges
The biggest package is the Neemuch bypass via Jaisingpura, Baghana, Dhaneriya and Changera, 17.20 km with electrification work, at ₹48.88 crore in Neemuch division. Then comes the Kalwa Kadodiya Dhobhi Pichor Bijana road, 12.60 km including a high level bridge and electric pole shifting, at ₹34.05 crore under PWD sub division Shajapur.
The third is the Siroliya Kapaliya Sihoda Sajod to Bhumri road, 12.40 km, also with a high level bridge and pole shifting, at ₹28.72 crore. All three sit under NIT 14/GN/CE dated 14 October 2026 from the Chief Engineer, Ujjain Zone, as percentage rate works contracts.
Pole shifting is the hidden schedule risk
Two of the three packages carry electric pole shifting in the scope. On Madhya Pradesh roadworks that is usually the item that holds up the earthwork, because it depends on the distribution company moving at your pace. Build it into the programme rather than treating it as a small side item.
EMD is about 0.5 per cent on each, at ₹24,43,825 for Neemuch, ₹17,02,285 for Kalwa Kadodiya and ₹14,36,235 for Siroliya Kapaliya, with no exemption. The fee is ₹50,000 per package. Neemuch runs 720 days and the two Shajapur roads 540 days each. Bids open at 10:00 AM on 4 November.
Earthwork, a bridge crew, and a long haul
A new bypass alignment means heavy cut and fill, so excavators and a tipper fleet set the pace on Neemuch. Layer work across all three packages wants a motor grader, compactors and a wheel loader at the plant. The two high level bridges need a separate crew with transit mixers and a crane.
Neemuch and Shajapur are about 250 km apart, so these are not packages you run from one camp. Pick the one near your existing work, or price the move honestly. Our note on road construction equipment covers how the layer fleet should be matched.
