The monsoon adds a nearer signal. Himachal’s fleet call-up, with 92 bulldozers, 211 excavator-cum-loaders, 124 road rollers and dozens of tippers, is the kind of seasonal spike that tightens rental supply and utilisation across the hill states through the wet months. Contractors bidding restoration work should lock machines and operators early.
