Two town bypasses on NH-150A, one at Maski and one at Sindhanur, are being tendered together at ₹292.71 crore, and this second call of the Maski Sindhanur tender closes at 3:00 PM on 30 November 2026.
Twenty kilometres around two towns
The Maski bypass starts at existing km 144.220 and ends at km 151.760. The Sindhanur bypass starts at existing km 168.370 and ends at km 180.800. Both are on NH-150A in Karnataka, roughly 20 km of new road between them, on EPC mode. The Regional Office at Bangalore is the authority and the portal allows 730 days.
The reference number, RW/ BNG /NH-150A/Maski Sindhanur Bypass/62/2023( 2nd Call), says this is the second time the package has gone to market. A second call usually means the first round drew too few bids or none that qualified, which can work in favour of a well-prepared bidder this time.
What the portal publishes
The estimate is ₹2,92,71,00,000 with an EMD of ₹2,92,00,000 and no exemption allowed. The fee is ₹30,000, modest for the value. The notice went up on 3 October 2025 and bids open at 3:00 PM on 1 December 2026.
The bypasses are about 17 km apart, close enough for one crusher and one hot-mix plant to serve both if the haul roads are kept in shape. Earthwork comes first: excavators on cut and borrow, tippers on the lead, compactors building the embankment through the Tungabhadra command area where the land is irrigated and often wet.
Canal and distributary crossings mean more structures than a plain bypass, so plan transit mixers and a crane for a long spell. A motor grader and wheel loaders finish the job. Raichur and Sindhanur have a good local fleet because of the mining and paddy traffic in the district.
