Nagaur City Four Lane Tender: The Left Out Stretch Upgraded on EPC Mode (Rs 88.69 Cr)

The stretch of highway through Nagaur that earlier contracts skipped is going to four lanes at ₹88.69 crore on EPC mode, and the Nagaur city four lane tender closes at 5:00 PM on 26 October 2026.

Filling the gap through the city

The notice covers upgradation to a four lane carriageway with paved shoulders of what MoRTH calls the Nagaur City Left Out Stretch. RO Jaipur is running it through NH Division Nagaur under notice inviting bid number 03/2026-27 of the SE NH Bikaner, with 548 days on an EPC contract.

A left out stretch is usually left out for a reason, and in a city that reason is normally land, structures or utilities. The length is short but the work is fiddly, and a contractor who has done urban highway widening will price it far better than one who has only built on open ground.

City widening is a utilities job first

Expect to spend the early months moving water lines, cables and poles before any real carriageway work starts. Backhoe loaders do the bulk of that, supported by compact excavators where space is tight. Traffic has to keep moving throughout, so work happens in half widths with constant barricading.
