Delhi PWD is replacing old brick drains with precast and RCC box drains on two South West roads, and the ₹33.76 crore Delhi box drain tender closes at 3:00 PM on 13 November 2026.

Two roads, one contract

The first length, drain ID 1222, runs from Manglapuri Flyover to Pankha Road along Sagarpur Road. The second, drain ID 1225, is the connection road from Satguru Ram Singh Marg to Vishnu Dutt Marg. Both sit under SD-1 of the SWR-2 division, and the executive engineer of M-141(N) is inviting bids under reference 19/CE/South/PWD/2026-27 (R-1). The estimate is ₹33,76,01,875 and the portal allows 210 days.

Brick drains in Delhi are usually the oldest thing under the road. They silt up, they leak and they collapse under traffic. Swapping them for precast box sections gets the carriageway back faster than casting everything in place, which is why PWD keeps specifying it.

Terms, and the re-invitation

EMD is ₹43,76,019 with no exemption, and the tender fee is nil, so the only money you put up front is the deposit. Bids close and open on the same afternoon of 13 November 2026, half an hour apart. The R-1 in the reference number marks this as a re-invitation, which often means the first call drew too few bidders. That is worth knowing before you price it.

Precast box sections need a pick and carry crane standing by as each piece lands, and the bedding, haunching and road restoration behind it keep a transit mixer and a small roller busy. Allow for utility shifting: in Sagarpur the cables and water lines are rarely where the drawing says.
