NHAI has put a ₹394.92 crore package out to bid for upgrading 30 km of the Ghazipur, Zamania and Saiyad Raja corridor on NH-24 in Uttar Pradesh, and bids close on 22 September 2026.
What this Ghazipur Zamania tender covers
The package picks up the existing four-lane corridor at Km 71.000, where the Purvanchal Expressway ties in, and runs to Km 102.000 at the start of the Ghazipur to Zamania and Saiyad Raja section. Total design length is 30 km. NHAI has floated it as Package I on hybrid annuity mode, which means the winning firm builds the stretch and is paid partly during construction and partly through annuities once traffic runs.
This is upgradation work on a live corridor rather than a greenfield alignment. Expect carriageway strengthening, structures, junction improvement and service road work along a route that already carries eastern Uttar Pradesh traffic between the expressway and the Ghazipur side. Because the road stays open through construction, traffic management and staged working will shape the programme as much as the earthwork will.
