Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority has three design and construct packages out together for main pumping stations and sewage treatment plants worth Rs 452.43 crore, and the largest Gurugram pumping station tender closes at 12:00 noon on 27 October 2026.
Three plants, one sewerage programme
The INFRA II wing of GMDA is building out pumping and treatment capacity across the city. The biggest package covers a 200 MLD main pumping station with a 100 MLD sewage treatment plant along with power generation, at Rs 1,97,70,64,315. The second covers a 400 MLD main pumping station and a 100 MLD plant at Behrampur, with operation and maintenance for ten years after a one year defect liability period, at Rs 1,91,46,75,674. The third is smaller, a 90 MLD pumping station with a 40 MLD plant on SBR technology, at Rs 63,26,16,483.
All three are listed as civil works with a 450 or 480 day build. The two larger packages close on 27 October and the 90 MLD package closes earlier, at 12:00 noon on 19 October 2026, so check the date against the package you want before you start assembling papers.
Who these packages suit
Deposits are heavy: Rs 3,95,41,280, Rs 3,82,93,513 and Rs 1,26,52,320 against a flat Rs 5,000 fee for each. Ten years of operation on the Behrampur package means the winner needs process people on the payroll, not just a civil team, and that pushes it towards water and wastewater specialists.
Pumping station wet wells and SBR basins go several metres below ground, often in high water table, which calls for excavators with long booms, dewatering and shoring. Transit mixers run continuously during raft and wall pours, and a crane sets pumps, blowers and diffuser grids. Wheel loaders keep aggregate moving at the batching point, and compactors close the backfill around completed tanks.
