The work is construction of a two lane road over bridge near the existing road under bridge at level crossing number 429, on the Jalalpur, NH-719, to National Highway 44 road via Susera Kothi Marg in Gwalior, on EPC mode, with a length of 960 metres. MPRDC is the client, reference 722, and the portal shows a lump-sum contract with 730 days.

The existing arrangement is an underbridge, which in this part of the country usually means standing water in the monsoon and a height restriction that keeps loaded trucks out. An ROB solves both, at the cost of a long approach ramp on each side.
