Haryana Transport is rebuilding three bus terminals with commercial blocks on top, at Karnal, Pipli and Gurugram, and all three tenders in the Haryana bus terminal tender set close at 5:00 PM on 25 November 2026.
Three terminals, three separate bids
The department has put out one terminal per notice. Karnal on the Balari bypass is the big one at ₹637 crore, reference DST/LNB/Karnal/01. Pipli in Kurukshetra follows at ₹272 crore under DST/LNB/Pipli/01, and Sector 29 in Gurugram at ₹252 crore under DST/LNB/Gurugram/01. Together that is ₹1,161 crore of work from one department on one closing date.
Each notice is a works tender in the construction works category, so you bid on the one you want or on all three. The portal lists no work period for any of them, so the bid document is where you will find the programme.
The deposit tells you who this is for
Karnal asks ₹13,00,00,000 as EMD, Pipli ₹6,00,00,000 and Gurugram ₹5,00,00,000. Exemption is not allowed on any of the three. A deposit of that size with a commercial component attached means the department wants builders who have finished a mixed-use project, not a pure civil contractor.
The tender fee is ₹25,000 for each notice. All three went up on 1 June 2026 and open on 26 November at 12:30 PM, so you have had a long window to visit the sites and price them properly.
Demolition first, then a building job
An operating terminal has to come down before the new one goes up, and that means excavators with breakers, backhoe loaders for the service trenches and tippers running debris out through town traffic. The structure above is a standard reinforced concrete frame, so transit mixers and a crane for the upper floors carry most of the load.
Bus circulation aprons and parking bays need a compactor and paving grade work at the end. Gurugram Sector 29 is the tightest site of the three, so plan for small machines and night working there.
