Where the bridge goes
The structure crosses the railway at kilometre 67/10-11 between Indore station and Dewas station, carried along the MR-12 road inside Town Planning Scheme 08 in Indore. MR-12 is one of the master plan roads the authority has been opening up on the eastern side of the city, and this crossing is the piece that currently forces traffic down to a level crossing.
Design and build, not build to drawing
This is a design and construction package on a lump sum basis, so the bidder carries the design risk as well as the build. That changes who should bid. Reinforced earth walls, if the design uses them, add a slow, labour-led phase that plant cannot speed up.
