The Orissa State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation is inviting bids for development of tourism infrastructure like streetscape and beautification at Jiranga, Gajapati, reference 17/OPHWC/2026-27. Small machines, awkward sites

Streetscape work is a sequence of short, cramped work fronts rather than one big site. You are cutting footpath lines, laying drains and kerbs, building small structures and then paving, usually with a road open alongside. A backhoe loader is the machine that does most of this, and on a 450 day programme one or two of them with good availability beat a bigger fleet.

Kerbs, paving and small structures need concrete mixers close to the work, and the paving and shoulder work finishes with small compactors and plate vibrators. Contractors already working in Gajapati or Berhampur have the material supply lines this kind of job needs.
