The National Highways division at Latur has put three road over bridges out together, worth ₹128.98 crore in all, and every one of the Latur ROB tenders closes at 5:30 PM on 10 December 2026.
Three level crossings, three separate NITs
The biggest of the three is the ROB with approaches at km 1.235 near Ashtamode on NH-63, estimated at ₹68,75,93,484 under NIT No. 08/EENHD/Latur/2219/2026. Next comes the ROB at km 38.215 near Pangaon on NH-361H at ₹30,74,14,692, under NIT No. 07/EENHD/Latur/2218/2026. The third is at km 97.542 near Wadwal Nagnath on NH-752K, ₹29,48,20,441, under NIT No.06/EENHD/Latur/2217/2026.
They are three contracts, not one package, so you can bid for one, two or all three. All three went up on the portal on the same afternoon, carry 548 days, and close and open on the same dates. For a contractor already working in the Latur belt that is an efficient way to fill a plant schedule, since one casting yard and one girder gang can serve all three sites.
Why the terms favour a mid-sized bidder
Each NIT carries a ₹10,000 fee and an EMD matched to its own size: ₹68,75,935 at Ashtamode, ₹30,74,000 at Pangaon and ₹29,48,000 at Wadwal Nagnath. EMD exemption is allowed on all three, which opens them to registered small and medium contractors who hold a valid exemption certificate. Bids open at 11:00 AM on 14 December.
The work sits under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways through its Mumbai regional office and the NH division at Latur. Elsewhere in Maharashtra, MoRTH has the Mohol Walsang stretch on NH-465 and the Seldoh Pavnar job on NH-353I open on comparable dates.
Bridge fleet, with the railway calling the shots
An ROB is a piling and girder job wrapped in a permissions problem. The approaches are ordinary earthwork for excavators, tippers, a motor grader and compactors. The span itself needs a piling rig, steady concrete from transit mixers, and a crane of the right capacity for the girders. The part that bites is the block over the tracks: launching happens in short traffic blocks granted by the railway, so your crane and crew have to be ready to work at odd hours. Standard road construction equipment covers the approaches, but the lifting plan is where these three jobs are won or lost.
How many tenders are in the Latur ROB tenders group?
