Two towers programmes, one notice
Package 01 is the Nautica Greens Apartment at CG City Yojna, a design, engineering, procurement and construction job valued at ₹710.65 crore, reference 115/E-TENDER/CE/26-27_01. Package 02 is the group housing plot in Viraj Khand under the Gomti Nagar Yojna, valued at ₹635.18 crore on EPC Mode-I, reference 115/E-TENDER/CE/26-27_02.
Both run 1,095 days on the portal and the form of contract is turn-key, so the winner carries design risk along with construction. LDA has been buying this way all year, including the Aishbagh group housing job on Mill Road.
What it takes to qualify
The deposits are large and tell you the band LDA is aiming at: ₹14,21,30,000 for CG City and ₹12,70,36,000 for Gomti Nagar, 2 per cent in both cases, with a tender fee of ₹59,000 each. Bids open at 3:00 PM on 24 November.
A single bidder can take both, but the cash flow of two three-year high-rise jobs in the same city is the real test. For smaller contractors the sensible route is sub-contract packages: piling, shuttering, blockwork, lifts and external development. Lucknow has steady public building work going on, such as the transit hostel at Police Lines Kalli Pashchim.
Machines on a high-rise site
Towers of this size mean piling rigs first, then tower cranes that stay up for two years. Below them you need backhoe loaders for trenches and services, excavators for basement cutting and transit mixers feeding a boom placer. A pick-and-carry crane handles shuttering and reinforcement moves around the block, and wheel loaders keep aggregate moving at the batching point. External development at the end brings in compactors for roads and parking decks.
