Forty-two kilometres, and the power line comes with it

The notice covers construction work of the Lukwasa, Chandanpura and Ogar road, length 42.00 km, including external electrification of the 33 and 11 kV and low tension overhead line and pole shifting, in Shivpuri district. Putting the line shifting inside the civil contract is deliberate. On a 42 km rural road the poles sit in the widening zone almost the whole way, and a separate electrical agency working to its own timetable is how these jobs lose a season.
