Metro Line 12 Station Tender: Finishing and PEB Work at 11 Elevated Stations (Rs 301.02 Cr)

MMRDA has two packages open for architectural finishing and pre-engineered roofing at 11 elevated stations on Mumbai Metro Line 12, together worth Rs 301.02 crore, and both Metro Line 12 station tender packages close at 3:00 PM on 23 October 2026.

Eleven stations split into two contracts

Contract CA 320 covers six elevated stations at Rs 1,66,90,98,609 and contract CA 319 covers five at Rs 1,34,10,59,610. The scope in both is identical: architectural finishing, design and fabrication, supply, erection and roof sheeting of pre-engineered steel structures, the external facade, water supply and sanitary installation, drainage and site development. The location on the portal is Kalyan, on the Kalyan to Taloja corridor.

Finishing packages come after the viaduct and station frames are up, so the concourse and platform slabs are already there. What you are bidding is steelwork, cladding, flooring, plumbing and the ground around each station.

Low deposit, tight programme

The deposits are unusually small against the value: Rs 8,34,549 on CA 320 and Rs 6,70,530 on CA 319, with a Rs 5,900 fee on each. The portal does not state a work period for either package, so the programme comes from the bid document and is worth reading before you commit a crew. Both are item rate contracts and both open on 26 October.

What finishing work asks for in the way of machines

This is light on earthmoving and heavy on lifting. A crane or two will be on rent through the whole steel erection phase, since PEB rafters and roof sheets have to go up over a live station box. Site development and drainage around the stations is backhoe loader work, with a compactor for the approach paving. Screeds, plinths and footpath concrete come from transit mixers because there is rarely room for a batching plant at an urban station.
