Three manned level crossings in Nagaur district are being replaced with road over bridges under one Rajasthan PWD notice, and the Nagaur ROB tender closes at 6:00 PM on 21 October 2026.
LC-99, LC-113 and LC-60
All three calls sit under NIT-NO-21/2026-27 of the Additional Chief Engineer, PWD Zone Ajmer, on EPC mode. The first covers LC-99 on the Merta Road to Degana section at km 519/9-8 together with the Merta Road to Mertacity section at C1 IR km 1/0-1, valued at ₹47.69 crore. The second is LC-113 on the Merta Road to Jodhpur section at km 540/2-3 at ₹34.47 crore.
The third is LC-60 on the Bikaner to Merta section at km 575/3-4 at ₹30.22 crore. Add them up and the notice is worth ₹112.38 crore. Each is a percentage rate contract in the civil works category.
Note the different work periods
LC-99 carries 180 days, while LC-113 and LC-60 both carry 540 days. That is a real difference in how you price and staff them, so check the schedule before you treat the three as one job. EMD is about 2 per cent on each: ₹95,37,560, ₹68,94,620 and ₹60,44,460, and exemption is allowed. The fee is ₹5,000 per call.
The notice went up on 2 October 2026 and bids open at 5:00 PM on 22 October. A bidder who wins two or three can share the piling rig and the launching gear, which is most of the plant cost on an ROB.
Girders over a live railway line
ROB work is dictated by the traffic block you get from the railway. Foundations and abutments need a piling rig and excavators, and the approach embankments are straightforward earthwork for tippers, a motor grader and compactors. The deck is where the money goes, with transit mixers feeding continuously and a crane of the right capacity to set girders inside a short block.
Nagaur is open country with good haulage, so material lead is not the problem here. Getting the block and being ready for it is.
