MoRTH has tendered Package-1 of the NH-326 widening in Odisha at ₹597.64 crore, covering close to 99.5 km in two stretches, with bids closing on 15 September 2026.

The stretch and the money

This NH-326 Package-1 tender covers widening and strengthening of the existing two-lane carriageway to two lanes with paved shoulder, from km 68.600 to km 162.700 and again from km 178.400 to km 183.732, in Odisha, under EPC mode. Put together, that is 94.1 km in the main stretch plus a further 5.332 km, about 99.4 km of road in a single package.

The estimate is disclosed at ₹597.64 crore and the EMD is ₹5,97,64,000, exactly 1.00 per cent of it, so the two figures corroborate each other cleanly. The tender fee is ₹82,600. Bids run in two covers with 120-day validity, submissions open 28 August 2026 and close 15 September 2026, and opening follows on 21 September at Transport Bhawan in New Delhi. No corrigendum has been issued so far.

Worth noting for anyone tracking this corridor: a second NH-326 package is live at the same time. Package-2, starting at km 205.3, is a separate tender at ₹418.30 crore closing on the same date. Read them as two fronts on one highway rather than alternatives, because a contractor could reasonably bid both.
