The job is a one-time improvement of the existing Ukhrul town road from km 0 near Dungrei junction to km 9 near Toloi junction. The overlay is thin white topping (TWT), a thin layer of concrete laid over the old bituminous surface, which lasts far longer in a wet hill town.
