Atal Bus Stand Tender: A Type Stands at Sanapalla and Hatiatangar (Rs 163.67 Cr)

Two more A Type Atal bus stands are going out to bid in Odisha, at Sanapalla in Khurda and Hatiatangar in Keonjhar, and both parts of the Atal Bus Stand tender close at 5:00 PM on 26 October 2026.

Two towns, one notice

Orissa State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation is handling the building work under reference 14/OPHWC/2026-27. The first package is a cluster for construction of an A Type Atal Bus Stand at Sanapalla under Khurdha Municipality Block in Khurda district, parts I, II and III, valued at ₹94,86,67,033. The second is an A Type stand at Hatiatangar Bhairabpur Unit-7 under Keonjhargarh Block in Keonjhar district, parts I and II, valued at ₹68,80,38,022.

The A Type stand is the largest of the standard designs in this programme, with covered bays, a terminal building, commercial frontage and parking. Both packages run to 730 days.

Deposits, exemption and who else is bidding

EMD is ₹94,86,700 on the Khurda package and ₹68,80,400 on the Keonjhar package, each 1 per cent, and exemption is allowed on both. The fee is ₹11,800 per package. They were published together on 3 October and open at 10:30 AM on 27 October.

This is the same programme as the Atal Bus Stand tender for Patrapalli and Panikoili, which is still live under a different tender ID, so a contractor can line up four stands across four districts. For other building work in the state look at the ROTI annex building tender at Bhubaneswar.

Why bus stands are heavier than they look

A bus terminal is a concrete and paving job rolled together. The passenger building is ordinary enough, but the circulation area has to carry loaded buses turning all day, which means deep formation, stabilised subbase and rigid pavement rather than a car park slab. Plan for excavators on the formation, compactors and a motor grader on the layers, and steady transit mixer supply for the pavement and the frame. A crane goes up for the roof over the bays. Running the two packages together is what makes a second set of machines pay.

4. Download the package you want, then check eligibility, the deposit for that package and the ₹11,800 fee.
5. Submit your bid online before 26 October 2026, 5:00 PM.
