Shapoorji Pallonji’s India construction company carried an order book of about Rs 25,300 crore on 30 September 2025, according to ICRA, and Shapoorji Pallonji vendor registration for that work runs through a single online form on the SP Engineering & Construction website, shapoorji.in. The form takes your company details and one uploaded document, and nothing on SP’s sites mentions a fee. It was built for material suppliers: none of its 62 groups covers equipment hire, earthwork or labour subcontracts, so a machine owner also has to reach the project or regional office that needs the machines. Read the credit reports before you quote: ICRA and CARE both describe stretched liquidity and long collection cycles.

That Rs 25,300 crore sits with Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited (SPCPL), the group’s flagship. ICRA’s rating rationale of 29 May 2026 puts its FY2026 operating income at Rs 7,941.2 crore on a provisional basis, and describes an order book weighted to commercial and residential buildings, industrial plants and water projects. Domestic orders come mainly from Maharashtra, Delhi and Telangana. Government and private clients are roughly half each. For a firm with three excavators and a tipper, that is a lot of digging. The hard part is getting onto the right list.

Where Shapoorji Pallonji vendor registration happens

Start with what is missing. The group website, shapoorjipallonji.com, has no supplier, vendor or procurement page. Its sitemap listed 431 addresses on 3 November 2026 and none of them was for suppliers. Its page for SP Engineering & Construction (SP E&C) carries a “Visit Website” link to shapoorji.in, and that older site holds the form, under Contact Us, as the SP E&C vendor registration page.

This is a web form, nothing like the supplier portals some EPC firms run. There is no login, no vendor code shown on screen and no tracking number. You fill it in and press “Register Now” with one file attached. The site’s footer still reads “Copyright © 2018”, and a second menu link, labelled Partners and Registration Form, opened a “page not found” error on 3 November 2026. So Shapoorji Pallonji vendor registration online is real, but expect a slow, manual process behind it, and keep a copy of everything you send.

SP publishes no document list for this registration, and no validity or renewal rule either. The two siblings in this series are more specific. The L&T vendor registration terms list every paper L&T can ask for, and the Tata Projects vendor registration route checks PAN, GST and MSME status in its supplier portal. With SP you choose what goes in the single upload, so make it count. A sensible file, which is our suggestion and not SP’s rule, joins your GST certificate, PAN, Udyam (MSME) certificate and a cancelled cheque. Add a one-page fleet list giving each machine’s registration number with its insurance and fitness dates.

Is there a category for equipment hire or subcontract work?

No. All 62 groups in the Material Group list are goods, from access flooring to windows. They include aggregate, bituminous products, bricks and blocks, cement, RMC, steel, formwork and filling materials. Closest to a machine business are fuels and oils, spares, and tyres and tubes. Equipment hire, earthwork, transport and labour subcontract do not appear.

That tells you who the form was built for: the people who sell SP the bricks and cement. A hire firm or civil subcontractor should still send it, because it puts the firm’s name and papers on record at head office. Leave the material group blank or pick the nearest goods line if you also sell one, and use the message box to state plainly what you offer, for example “Equipment hire: 2 x 20-tonne excavators, 1 x backhoe loader, 4 tippers, operators included, based in Pune.” Then go to the site.

Which Shapoorji Pallonji businesses buy machine work

In India, SPCPL builds through two divisions, and they work in very different places. Afcons Infrastructure, the group company behind highway, tunnel and barrage projects on SP’s project pages, is a separate company and sits outside this guide.

SP’s own project pages show the scale. SP E&C finished the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat in Hyderabad in 2023, about one million sq ft of built-up area. On Central Vista Avenue in New Delhi it laid 13.5 km of stormwater piping and 16 km of granite pathways. SP EPC lists the ore bedding and blending plant at SAIL Rourkela and the thin slab caster and hot strip mill at NMDC Nagarnar.

Building sites like these hire a 20-tonne class excavator such as the CAT 320D3 GC (19,800 kg) for basements and bulk digging, a backhoe loader like the JCB 3DX for drains and utility trenches, and a pick-and-carry crane like the ACE NX 360 15T (15-tonne capacity, 18.2 m boom) to shift steel and precast around the yard. The SP E&C site also lists regional offices, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata. Is Shapoorji vendor registration free, and what about fraud?

Nothing on the vendor form, the group website or the SP E&C website mentions a fee, as read on 3 November 2026. SP also publishes no vendor-specific fraud notice, which the L&T portal does. The nearest thing is a disclaimer on the shapoorji.in careers page. It says Shapoorji Pallonji And Company Private Limited “never solicit any money from candidates at any stage of recruitment” and sends official recruitment emails only from the “@shapoorji.com” domain.

Use the same test for vendor work. An “SP vendor code” offered for a fee, a registration “agent”, or a purchase order arriving from a Gmail address is not SP. Check any order or letter of intent with the regional office on the phone number printed on SP’s own contacts page, not the number in the email.

What the rating reports say about getting paid

This is the part most vendor guides skip. ICRA reaffirmed SPCPL at [ICRA]BBB- (Negative) and [ICRA]A3 on 29 May 2026. It called the liquidity position “Stretched” and said about 40% of the company’s debtors were over six months old on 31 March 2026, much of it an arbitration award still being recovered. Its words on suppliers are direct: “reliance on vendor credit persists”. CARE Ratings, in its release of 9 October 2025, put SPCPL’s average collection period, including net contract assets, at about 240 days in FY25.

Read that as a working-capital signal. ICRA also notes the core EPC margin rose to 5.4% in FY2026 from 2.4% a year earlier, and CARE counted about Rs 3,000 crore of new orders in the first half of FY26. What it means for a hire firm is simple. Agree the billing cycle and payment period in writing, and size your exposure so one late cheque does not stop your EMIs. If you need another machine to take an SP package, run the numbers on equipment finance against realistic payment days, not the ones you hope for.

Checklist before you send the form or quote

  • Fill the form at shapoorji.in under Contact Us, Vendor Registration, and save a screenshot of the completed page.
  • Upload one combined PDF of your GST, PAN, Udyam and bank papers plus the fleet list.
  • Write your services in the message box, because no material group covers hire or subcontract work.
  • Call the regional office or the project’s plant and machinery in-charge, and ask which SP entity and GSTIN the order will come from.
  • Get the payment days into the hire order before mobilisation.
  • Refuse anyone who asks for money to register you, and verify orders on SP’s published numbers.
  • Track live EPC and government work on current contract opportunities so one buyer is never your whole order book.
