NCC Limited booked Rs 6,232.34 crore of sub-contractor work bills in 2025-26, by its own annual report, yet as of November 2026 there is no public NCC vendor registration portal, form or fee. Subcontractors, material suppliers and machine hire firms are taken on project by project: the site or regional office picks the vendor, the vendor signs NCC’s Supplier Code of Conduct, and the vendor is then set up in NCC’s internal enterprise system. NCC publishes no vendor fee anywhere, so anyone selling an “NCC vendor code” deserves suspicion. Its own figures also put accounts payable at 113 days for 2025-26, which belongs in your rate.

NCC here means NCC Limited, the listed Hyderabad contractor that, in its own words, began about four decades ago as Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd. It builds buildings, roads, metro viaducts, water schemes, canals and power lines, and runs coal mines for Coal India subsidiaries. A hire firm or small subcontractor wants to know one thing: where do I sign up? The honest answer is that NCC has no sign-up page. The rest of this guide covers what it has instead.

Is there an NCC vendor registration portal?

No public one was found on 2 November 2026. The ncclimited.com sitemap lists 69 pages, covering projects, investors, careers and policies, and none of them is a supplier, vendor or procurement page. Paths such as /vendor-registration, /suppliers and /procurement return 404. The nccltd.in domain, which carries NCC’s email addresses, shows only an empty directory listing. The contact page has a general enquiry form and nine regional offices, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Patna.

NCC’s 2025-26 integrated annual report explains why. It lists vendor onboarding among the processes automated on its enterprise systems, which run on Infor LN across more than 170 sites, and then says plainly that “procurement digitisation is an important area for further strengthening, particularly in vendor onboarding”. So vendor codes are created inside NCC, by NCC staff, after a project decides to use you. Two of NCC’s peers work differently: L&T runs an open Partner Portal, covered in the guide to L&T vendor registration, and Tata Projects takes suppliers through a web form into SAP Ariba, as the guide to Tata Projects vendor registration explains.

How much NCC spends on subcontractors and hired machines

The money is in the standalone profit and loss statement, and it is large. Sub-contractor bills alone came to more than a third of NCC’s standalone revenue from operations of Rs 17,463.49 crore.

Line in NCC’s 2025-26 reports (standalone) FY 2025-26 FY 2024-25
Sub-contractor work bills Rs 6,232.34 crore Rs 7,017.89 crore
Hire charges for machinery and others Rs 290.45 crore Rs 257.33 crore
Transport charges Rs 66.55 crore Rs 64.45 crore
Accounts payable days (BRSR) 113 days 97 days
Input material sourced directly from MSMEs and small producers 18% 10%
Dues to micro and small enterprises at year end Rs 109.44 crore Rs 51.39 crore

Sub-contractor bills fell with revenue, while machinery hire charges rose about 13%. For a hire firm, that second line is the one to watch.

Which NCC businesses need machines and crews

NCC’s consolidated order book stood at Rs 83,004 crore at the end of 2025-26. The annual report splits it by segment and names the big jobs in each. The right-hand column is a reading of the work described, since NCC does not publish a list of the services it hires.

Segment (share of order book) FY26 projects NCC names Where outside firms fit
Buildings (27%) AIIMS Awantipora, Lucknow airport terminal, naval housing at Karwar Excavation, piling, cranes, labour packages
Transportation (20%) Madurai Ring Road, Bengaluru Metro Phase 2B viaducts, Nagpur flyover Earthwork, utility diversion, road machinery
Mining (17%) WCL Makardhokra, CCL Amrapali, Pachhwara North coal mine Overburden removal and coal transport
Electrical (17%) 400/220 kV substations, distribution upgrades, smart meters Foundations, cabling trenches, transport
Water and Railways (12%) Ujjain Simhastha water works with over 700 km of pipelines, UP village water schemes Pipeline trenching, backfill, tippers
Irrigation and others (7%) Palamuru reservoir bund, Punganur branch canal, Barnar reservoir Canal and bund earthwork

Most of the FY26 projects NCC names are for state and central agencies, so a new NCC site usually follows a public water, road or mining award. The public works tenders listed at Opportunity Desk show which agencies are awarding packages and where, which tells you where to knock next.

How a subcontractor or hire firm gets onto an NCC site

NCC’s BRSR describes how it deals with suppliers and sub-contractors: by email, meetings and official letters, “as and when required”, on needs, schedules, compliance and safety performance. Its risk table lists “due diligence in subcontractor and vendor selection”. Put together, the route looks like this:

  1. Find the project. Note the NCC package name and client from the site board or the award notice.
  2. Meet the project’s plant and machinery in-charge or site procurement team with a rate, machine list and availability. Where no site exists yet, write to the regional office for that state; the contact page lists emails such as ro.lucknow@nccltd.in and ro.patna@nccltd.in.
  3. Expect NCC’s checks on your firm, your papers and, for a scope of work, your past jobs. The usual folder, from GST and PAN to machine RC, insurance and operator licence, is covered in the guide to working with an EPC contractor.
  4. Sign off the Supplier Code of Conduct and the contract. NCC’s contracts with value chain partners carry clauses mandating statutory compliance, and breach can mean penalty or termination.
  5. Get your vendor code created in NCC’s system before you raise the first bill.

If you hold Udyam registration, say so in writing at this stage. It decides whether MSME payment protections and TReDS discounting apply to your bills.

What NCC asks its suppliers to sign

The Sustainable Procurement Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct applies to every NCC supplier and to its contractors. Most of it is standard, but a few clauses have teeth for a small firm. You must verify the age of every worker from recognised ID such as a birth certificate or Aadhaar card. Each worker gets an accurate payroll receipt with each payment, recorded in payroll logs open to audit. Operators need safety training and proper protective equipment, and incidents must be reported. Bribes are banned outright; gifts to NCC staff are limited to modest business courtesy.

NCC can monitor you through on-site assessments, questionnaires and reviews of your records. In 2025-26 it assessed 157 value chain partners, covering 29% of its spend, on an ESG questionnaire, and ran three awareness programmes on labour law, statutory compliance and safety that reached partners worth 37% of its business.

Is there a fee for NCC vendor registration?

NCC has published no vendor fee, and no statement on vendor fees either way. The only fraud warning on its website is for jobseekers: NCC says it charges no fee at any stage of recruitment and asks people to report money demands to careers@nccltd.in. Since the vendor code is created inside NCC after a project chooses you, there is nothing a middleman can sell. A supplier who meets one can use NCC’s Stakeholders’ Grievance Redressal Policy, which covers suppliers: write to stakeholders.grievance@nccltd.in or to the Head, Internal Audit at NCC House, Madhapur. The policy promises an acknowledgement within one working day with a reference number.

How fast NCC pays, by its own figures

NCC’s accounts payable ran at 113 days in 2025-26, against 97 days the year before. Dues to micro and small enterprises more than doubled to Rs 109.44 crore at 31 March 2026, and the accounts show Rs 1.71 crore of interest due on them under the MSMED Act. NCC also offers invoice reverse factoring through TReDS portals to suppliers registered under the MSME scheme, so an Udyam-registered hire firm can get paid early by a bank at a discount.

The 2025-26 annual report also notes two insolvency applications filed by vendors under Section 9 of the IBC, pending before NCLT Hyderabad; NCC contests both, saying no amount is due. Read that as a reason to keep clean records: signed log sheets, measurement records and acknowledged bills.

Machines that fit NCC’s water, road and mining work

NCC runs its own fleet from central and regional workshops and tracks mining equipment through IoT, so hired machines are most needed at peaks and on sites far from its yards. On water and road packages, pipeline trenching and earthwork call for 20-tonne excavators such as the Volvo EC210D (22,800 kg, 0.52 to 1.22 cubic metre bucket, 156 HP, 6.73 m digging depth, about Rs 58.9–65.1 lakh ex-factory, indicative, as of Nov 2026). Overburden at a coal mine needs a bigger class, such as the SANY SY365C-9LA (36,800 kg, 2.4 cubic metre bucket, 256 HP, about Rs 1.04–1.16 crore ex-factory, indicative, as of Nov 2026), working with tippers on a mine contract that can run for years.

When to approach the NCC site and when to write to a regional office

Go to the site when the project is already mobilised and you can name the package; that is where hire decisions are made, and a P&M engineer short of a machine next week is your best buyer. Write to the regional office when the award is fresh and no site team exists yet, or when you want to be considered across several NCC projects in one state. In both cases, settle the hire order terms, idle days and billing cycle before mobilising. With 113-day payables on NCC’s own books, check that the rate carries the wait, and line up equipment finance that can absorb it before you add a machine for one package. Then compare current excavator models and prices against the class the job needs.

Facts come from ncclimited.com (sitemap, contact, careers and ESG pages), NCC’s Integrated Annual Report 2025-26, its BRSR and Sustainability Report for 2025-26, the Sustainable Procurement Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct, and the Stakeholders’ Grievance Redressal Policy, as read on 2 November 2026. Machine prices are indicative and vary by variant, location and date. Supplier processes and terms change. Confirm the current process with NCC Limited’s site or regional procurement team before you quote or mobilise a machine.
