NHAI Hyderabad is putting two six-lane underpasses on NH-44 near Adilabad for ₹78.42 crore, and the Adilabad underpass tender closes at 5:00 PM on 25 November 2026.
Two blackspots on the Nagpur-Hyderabad road
The first underpass is at km 200.678, Mavala X Road at the Adilabad bypass end, and the second at km 224.813 where the Ichoda bypass starts. Each is a 30 m by 5.5 m single-span box with allied works. Both fall under the MoRTH long-term rectification of identified blackspots, and the reference is NHAI/RO-HYD/Blackspots/NH-44/Ngp-Hyd/2026/33.
The notice went up on 10 October, so there are six weeks to price it. That is enough time to visit both sites and work out the traffic diversion at each.
