Ahmedabad Elevated Corridor Tender, Sarkhej ROB (Rs 364.44 Cr)

Amdavad Municipal Corporation has floated a ₹364.44 crore Ahmedabad elevated corridor tender for a four-lane railway over bridge between Sarkhej Circle and Sanand Junction, closing 21 September 2026.

The stretch and the scope

This package builds a four-lane railway over bridge cum elevated corridor in place of level crossing no. 28 on the Ahmedabad to Botad railway line. It runs on the 60 metre wide town planning road that connects Sarkhej Circle to the Sanand to Sarkhej road, crossing over L. J. Circle and Sanand Junction at S. G. Highway. AMC has put it out on EPC mode, which means the winning firm carries design and construction together against a fixed price rather than billing measured quantities.

Removing a level crossing on a working railway line shapes the whole programme. Work near the tracks happens in sanctioned blocks, girder launching gets scheduled around train movement, and the road traffic on S. G. Highway has to keep flowing while the piers go up. The document set already includes general arrangement drawings for the crossing, an electrical scope, a quality assurance plan and a tree identification schedule, so the site constraints are spelled out before you bid.
