Eight months on a new industrial site
The notice reads development of industrial area REIZ Sindhiyo Ki Dhani, SKD, Balotra. REIZ stands for the Rajasthan Export and Industrial Zone framework under which these sites are laid out. Why Balotra matters for a contractor
Balotra is the textile processing town that was carved out as its own district, and its industrial land has been in demand for years. A 240 day contract on a new RIICO site there is a short, well-defined job in a place where more work is likely to follow.
Eight months on a bare site means the earthwork cannot drift. Put excavators, tippers and a motor grader on levelling from day one, with compactors following so the road formations are ready as soon as the ground is. Backhoe loaders trench the drains and service lines, and transit mixers supply culverts, drain walls and kerbs. Western Rajasthan is dry, so water for compaction is a cost line, not an assumption.
