Champawat Flood Protection Tenders: Huddi River and Kiroda Nala Packages (Rs 262.77 Cr)

Uttarakhand has two river protection packages open in Purnagiri tehsil of Champawat district worth ₹262.77 crore together, and both Champawat flood protection tenders close at 5:00 PM on 24 November 2026.

Two rivers, one notice

The bigger package, ₹222.13 crore, is flood protection work on the Huddi river for the villages between Chinigoth and the Jakbouda bridge, and from the Jakbouda bridge to the Sharda canal siphon. The second, ₹40.64 crore, covers channelization and flood protection in the Kiroda Nala, from above and below the Kiroda bridge up to the causeway on the Purnagiri road, taken up under Chief Minister announcement no. 1102025.

Both carry reference 07/SE/2026-27 and come from the Irrigation Work Circle at Srinagar under the Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood, Garhwal, Dehradun. The Huddi package runs 530 days and the Kiroda Nala package 470 days, so each one spans two working seasons.

Deposits and the bidding window

EMD is ₹2,47,13,000 for the Huddi river work and ₹65,64,000 for the Kiroda Nala work, with a tender fee of ₹5,900 each. The form of contract is item rate on both, which suits a contractor who is confident of quantities rather than design. Bids open at 3:30 PM on 26 November.
