A four lane road through Hingoli town plus a major bridge over the Kayadhu and a new two lane road over bridge go out together at ₹133.53 crore, and the Hingoli NH-461B tender closes at 5:30 PM on 6 November 2026.

Three kinds of work in one package

The scope is rehabilitation and upgradation of a four lane road with paved shoulders in the Hingoli town section of NH-461B, from Narsi Phata to the junction with NH-161 at Sawarkheda. Inside that it carries a major bridge across the Kayadhu river and an additional two lane road over bridge at level crossing 144(B). NH Division Akola is executing under RO Mumbai, reference 14/EENH/AKL/2025-26 dated 7 April 2026.

That mix is the thing to notice. A town stretch, a river bridge and a railway crossing each need different crews and different plant, and they cannot all be run off one gang.

Town work is slow work

Four laning through a town means utility shifting, property edges, local traffic and shopkeepers. The 730 day period is realistic rather than generous. EMD is ₹1,33,53,000 with no exemption and the fee is ₹11,800, on an EPC contract with the estimate at ₹1,33,53,00,000.

The notice has been live since April 2026 and bids open at 5:30 PM on 9 November 2026. Marathwada has several MoRTH packages running at once, so subcontract capacity around Hingoli, Nanded and Akola is being competed for.

Plan for a bridge crew and a town crew

The Kayadhu bridge needs river foundation work, so dewatering, a piling rig and long reach excavators. The ROB at LC 144(B) needs a crane matched to the girder span and a railway block to use it in. Both structures run on transit mixers.

Through the town itself, backhoe loaders do the drains and service trenches while a motor grader and compactors build the carriageway in half widths. Compact machines beat large ones in a built up stretch.
