Jaipur Development Authority is tendering ₹46.01 crore of lateral sewer lines and manholes for Sewer Zone-6 in the PRN (North) area, discharging to the Nevta STP, with bids due by 18 September 2026.
Scope of the Jaipur lateral sewer line tender
The work is providing, laying and jointing lateral sewer lines of various sizes, with manholes, in the PRN (North) area under Sewer Zone-6. Lateral lines are the smaller pipes that collect sewage street by street and feed the trunk main, and here the network ends at the sewage treatment plant at Nevta. The division handling it is the Executive Engineer, PHE-II, JDA Jaipur.
A corrigendum dated 20 August 2026 added Annexure 2C covering EMD and the price escalation factor. That annexure affects both what you deposit and how the contract pays out if material prices move, so it belongs in your costing, not just your file.
Who should bid
Rajasthan sewerage and pipeline contractors are the fit, and JDA regulars will already know the process. Earnest money is ₹92,02,940, which is 2 per cent of the estimate, with exemption allowed, and the tender fee is ₹5,000. The contract is percentage rate with two covers and a 120-day bid validity. Bids close on 18 September and open a week later, on 25 September 2026.
Plant for sewer laying
Sewer work is trench work, and depth drives the fleet. Excavators do most of the digging, with a backhoe loader for lanes and connections, and trench shoring or boxes where the depth calls for it. A hydra or pipe layer handles heavier pipe sizes, plate compactors and rollers finish backfill and road reinstatement, and a concrete mixer supports the manhole chambers. Dewatering pumps and tippers round out the list.
