National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation has invited bids to finish the remaining works on NH-510 across two packages. Package V runs from design km 58.840 to km 75.000 and Package VI from km 75.000 to km 90.210, together covering roughly 31 km of existing road between Legship and Gyalshing in West Sikkim. The bid papers carry a full bridge volume alongside the road schedules, which fits the terrain, so structures and slope work sit at the centre of this contract rather than plain carriageway. The award is on an EPC basis, so design and build stay with one contractor.
Balance works on a Himalayan alignment reward crews that know hill roads.
