Access is the first problem on NH-326A. Getting a piling rig and a crawler crane to a river bed in Gajapati often costs more in approach road and platform work than the foundation itself, so price the haul and the temporary works honestly. Excavators cut the approach, build the working platform and handle the abutment excavation, with a rock breaker attachment likely given the Ghats geology. Concrete has to be produced close by, which usually means a site batching plant with transit mixers and a pump rather than relying on a supplier 40 or 50 km away. A hydraulic crane sets girders and shuttering, compactors build the approach embankments, and tippers work the haul in and the spoil out on a road you will be sharing with traffic.
